Dr. Joseph Sander is the Superintendent for Morton Community Unit School District 709 and holds a Doctorate of Education, a Master’s in Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics. He brings a strong community network and expertise in school finance, communications, presentations, social media, strategic planning, volunteer committee management, grant writing, public service, and military service.
Joseph and his wife, Jennifer, have called Morton home for 25 years and are blessed with four children—Luke, Ryan, Jillian, and Matthew. Passionate about organizations that provide opportunities for growth and development, he believes the Morton Community Foundation’s mission to Gather, Grow, Grant is a cornerstone investment in the people and organizations that serve the community. He is dedicated to promoting the “service before self” values that define Morton and ensuring this investment continues for generations.
