The Parkside of Morton
Endowment Fund
Supporting Activities of Parkside Residents
The Parkside of Morton Endowment Fund is an Agency Endowment Fund held at the Morton Community Foundation. Established in April 2024 by residents of The Parkside of Morton, this fund was created to enhance daily life and build community through meaningful activities and shared experiences.
The Parkside of Morton is a Christian retirement community for adults age 55 and above, known for its warm, friendly environment and strong sense of neighborly connection. This endowment helps make resident activities more accessible and enjoyable—today and for years to come.
Purpose of the Fund
Annual distributions from the fund are intended to help cover expenses related to resident activities, such as:
Field trip and outing transportation costs
Admission fees and tickets for events
On-site entertainment and special programs
Other activity-related expenses that create connection, fun, and enrichment for residents
Why an Endowment?
Because it is endowed, gifts to this fund are invested to provide long-term, dependable support. It’s a way for Parkside residents, families, and friends to strengthen resident life in a lasting, sustainable way—supporting activities that bring people together and create great memories.
