The Morton Youth Baseball Association (MYBA) Endowment Fund
This Designated Fund was started in June of 2016 by the Morton Park District and MYBA. The initial funds were transferred to this endowment from the Non-Endowed Pass-Through Project Fund that had been used to raise money to build the new baseball stadium at Westwood Park. After the construction project was completed, there was still money left in the fund, so those funds were used to start this endowment. It's purpose is to provide grants to the Morton Park District in furtherance of its support of the Morton Youth Baseball Association (MYBA) activities.
The Morton Youth Baseball Association's objective is to provide a supervised baseball program that will be enjoyable, educational, and challenging for all the youth within the Morton Park District, or other geographical area as determined by the MYBA Board of Directors. The attainment of exceptional athletic skill and the winning of games are secondary to this objective. The association provides an evening and weekend program, and is comprised of uniformed teams.
