MHS Track and Field Endowment Fund

This Designated Fund was started in April of 2023 by the MHS Track and Field coaching staff.  The purpose of the Fund shall be to make annual distributions to the District to assist in supporting its MHS Track and Field programs. The purpose of the Endowment shall be accomplished, by way of illustration and not by limitation, by supporting the purchase of equipment; defraying the costs of participating in Track and Field related activities, competitions, etc.; and other Track and Field related activities or purchases. 

The MHS Track and Field Endowment Fund was started by the track and field coaches to give people the option to support the Morton High School Track and Field program now and forever. This fund will generate annual grants that can be used by the coaches to purchase equipment and/or to offset the cost of student participation in the program.

Morton Community Unit District 709 (MCUSD 709) provides annual budgeted dollars toward the program, but grants from this endowment fund can help the program fund additional purchases that are not already covered by District funds, to help improve the experience of participation by students.
