Dennis & Paula Ewald
Family Endowment
Honoring Leadership, Creating Lasting Impact.
The Dennis & Paula Ewald Family Endowment Fund mirrors the purpose and flexibility of the Morton Impact Fund, serving as a powerful resource to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. This fund was established in 2009 by the Morton Community Foundation Board of Directors to honor Dennis A. Ewald for his vision, leadership, and service as the Foundation’s first Board President from its inception in 2000 through 2006.
Like the Morton Impact Fund, this unrestricted endowment empowers the Foundation to address immediate priorities and future opportunities that cannot always be anticipated. Whether it’s responding to urgent community needs, supporting vital programs, or seizing new opportunities, this fund ensures Morton remains strong and vibrant for generations to come.
Why This Fund Matters
It provides the Foundation with flexibility to respond where needs are greatest, without restriction.
It strengthens the Foundation’s capacity to serve the entire Morton community, now and in the future.
It continues Dennis Ewald’s legacy of leadership by fueling community well-being through our Annual Community Grants Cycle.
