Grants/Scholarships
Our Grant Cycle occurs once per year, in the Spring. The 2010 Grant Cycle begins February 26 and ends March 19. Click the Grant Cycle Timeline tab at left for the complete Grant Cycle timeline for 2010. Any charity in Morton which holds a 501 C charitable designation may apply for a grant.
The Morton Community Foundation's purpose is to assist projects in the fields of education, parks and recreation, library services, fine arts, and community services... and advance ONE OR MORE of the following objectives:
- Address and help resolve important existing or emerging community issues.
- Support new and creative projects and organizations offering the greatest opportunity for positive and significant change.
- Promote cooperation and collaboration among organizations.
- Identify, enhance, and develop leadership in the community through creative and innovative activities which empower individuals.
- Improve the quality or scope of charitable work in our community.
